QuVarsity™ & The Retention Triage
As a university continues to grow in student base and brand equity, retention will be fundamental to keeping the university moving forward as a leader. The goal for the Retention Triage is to enhance student service, decrease student attrition and aim for every student to become an alumni and not just another enrollment
The Challenge
30% of the registered students do not show up for class
25 to 30% of students starting class drop out during the first term
An additional 10% to 15% drop out during the second term
Note: The above statistics are relevant to online students. For campus students these are expected to be lower
Why are Students dropping out?

Explaining the multitude of new terminology, forms, online education platform, etc. and make the new student feel welcome
Ascertaining the budding pain points and escalating them for resolution before leading to student frustration
Identifying “student at risk” and escalating for action by Level-2 counselors
Responsiveness and swift resolutions to student problems
Heightened awareness to student feedback and increased internal accountability
Increased student retention leading to greater brand equity and increased bottom-line
